A business ideas magazine that does the homework
BusinessNES exists to answer one question well: what business should you start, and how do you actually start it.
The name is short for Business and New Earning Solutions. Since 2019, the site has grown from a business ideas blog into a working library: long-form idea guides organized by industry, budget, and location, rankings of the brands and platforms that shape those industries, and a growing set of tools built in house so readers can plan instead of just read.
It is written for people at every scale of business: first-time founders and side hustlers, students, owners of established companies, and executives scanning the market for their next move. Whoever you are, the format is the same: a shortlist of ideas, a clear market picture, or a plan you build with one of the tools.
A note from the founder
I started BusinessNES in 2019 as a place to collect practical business ideas, and I still run every part of it: the research, the writing, the tools, and the updates.
My background is in International Relations at the University of Warsaw, class of 2021, but my interests were always wider than one field: philosophy, history, creativity, and what past generations can teach us about building things that last.
I am an optimist by conviction: where there is a problem, there is usually a business waiting to solve it, and almost anyone can build one, or at the very least build themselves. That is the idea this site runs on. Real business starts with a real need, and every guide, ranking, and tool here exists to help you find that need and act on it.

Three things, done properly
Everything on BusinessNES falls into one of three families, and each one is held to the same editorial standard.
-
Idea libraries
Hundreds of business ideas across retail, food, vending, services, AI, and future tech, sorted by industry, budget, and location so you can find your lane fast.
-
Rankings and research
Brand rankings and platform comparisons built from public sources and market context. Positions are earned in research, never bought.
-
Free interactive tools
Planners, builders, and trackers that run right in your browser. No account, no download, no paywall. Open a tool, use it, keep the result.
How BusinessNES pages are researched and updated
Some pages here are idea guides, some are rankings, and some are interactive tools, but the same rule applies to all of them: make the page useful, check the facts, and keep it current when the information changes.
-
Start with the reader's decision
Before a guide is written, the page has to answer a real question: what to start, what to compare, what to buy, what to avoid, or what to plan next.
-
Check public sources
Research comes from company websites, public data, industry coverage, product pages, and real examples. Claims are checked before they are added to a guide.
-
Separate facts from judgment
Facts need a source they can be traced back to. Opinions and rankings are based on usefulness to the reader, market relevance, product range, and practical fit.
-
Explain rankings clearly
Rankings are built from public information and editorial judgment. Brands do not pay for ranking positions, and affiliate links do not decide the order.
-
Review older guides
Business ideas, platforms, prices, and company details change. When an older page needs work, it is updated, combined with a stronger guide, or removed if it no longer helps readers.
-
Test tools before publishing
BusinessNES tools are tested on desktop and mobile before release, then improved when problems or better ideas show up.
How this site makes money
BusinessNES is reader-supported through advertising and affiliate links, and that support never buys a ranking.
Display advertising
The ads you see are served by an independent ad network. They fund the research, the free tools, and the time it takes to keep pages updated.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, BusinessNES earns from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Links are attached to picks after a guide is written.
Editorial independence
Brands cannot pay for a position in any list or ranking on this site. If sponsored content ever appears, it is clearly labeled as such.
BusinessNES publishes research and planning material, not legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Verify local rules, costs, and requirements before acting on any idea.
